Despite losing their opening game, the 'B' team have also won their next three games and stand a close third in the Division Four table.

They were asked to bat first by Steep and with both Ross Harrop (31*) and Lyndon Strong (26) retiring, had 60 on the board in 6 overs. John Adams 17* kept the runs coming at the end, with our final total 121-4.

A sharp return catch for John saw the breakthrough, with Lyndon's run out making Steep's task even harder. This set the stage for Ross to grab 3-10 (a possible career best), his triple started by an outstanding Pete Robson stumping, with Beth Clarke (1-17) sending them to an all out total of 69 and a maximum 24 points haul.

Upcoming Events at the Pavilion

We're working hard here at Gosport Borough to keep the cost of playing cricket down. Like many other cricket clubs, we're facing all kinds of challenges in the face of rising costs. Please help us by coming along to events when you can and by telling your family, friends and neighbours and encouraging them to come along and get involved too. There are lots of ways to get involved and it's great fun.
We're always pleased to welcome anyone with new ideas and offers of help.

Our club needs Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Helpers!!

We are in need of more qualified coaches, coaching assistants and helpers to assist our small team of existing coaches run our various age groups of Colts next season.
It's essential that we keep the Colts running not only to provide our players for the future but also to ensure we remain Clubmark accredited, which is a prerequisite of the club being part of the Southern League.

If you're interested in being a coach, assistant coach, or if you can offer any help at all with the running of our colts, please let me know asap!
It doesn't matter if you can't commit every week to help running the colts, we'll organise things so you can help when it's best for you. Not only do we need additional coaches and assistants but we need parents to help in any way they can, particularly on match days with organising refreshments, collecting match fees, scoring, putting out chairs etc etc.

Are you interested in getting involved as a coach here at Gosport Borough Cricket Club?

We provide high quality coaching across a range of age groups and we're keen to ensure this continues.

The Hampshire Cricket Board is currently offering a range of coaching courses. If you feel you have the time and commitment to join our coaching team or if you are an existing coach looking to top up your experience and develop your skills further, please get in touch with Pete on 07710294870
