Hampshire Cricket League
INDOOR LEAGUE 'END OF TERM' REPORT

The 'A' team began their Div' 2 games with a defeat to Portsmouth & Southsea 'A' , and continued in their wake all season. A second defeat to the same side seemed to decide matters, but a late losst saw P&S beat us by only 9 points, with the third team 61 points adrift.

The 'B' team will look back at losing games they could have won, and their failure to get 6 players on court more than once, but also know that a more settled side could do well next season.

The Under 16's were mid-table and will need to score more runs in 2018/19 to improve that position, while the Under 13's will benefit as a number of their players are still in that age group next time.

Individually Lee Harrop & Freddy Boswell led the Senior Batting & U13 Bowling charts respectively coming into the final weeks, only to just miss out on top spot. However their efforts have seen them picked for the relevant end of season Select games on Sunday March 25th.

It would be fantastic for our coaches to have more support so please spread the word.

We've got a couple of people interested already, so if you, or anyone you know, is interested in having a go, please contact Barbara on 07968103578 or email.

GOSPORT BOROUGH CRICKET CLUB

Our club needs Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Helpers!!

We are in need of more qualified coaches, coaching assistants and helpers to assist our small team of existing coaches run our various age groups of Colts next season.
It's essential that we keep the Colts running not only to provide our players for the future but also to ensure we remain Clubmark accredited, which is a prerequisite of the club being part of the Southern League.

If you're interested in being a coach, assistant coach, or if you can offer any help at all with the running of our colts, please let me know asap!
It doesn't matter if you can't commit every week to help running the colts, we'll organise things so you can help when it's best for you. Not only do we need additional coaches and assistants but we need parents to help in any way they can, particularly on match days with organising refreshments, collecting match fees, scoring, putting out chairs etc etc.
