Gosport Borough Cricket Club Development Plan for 2017-18 can be found in POSTINGS towards the foot of this page.

The last Hampshire League games of 2017 saw all 3 sides earn a win.

Despite being already relegated, the seconds bowled out Bishops Waltham for 203, Sampath Prathapasinghe 3-38, and then saw the careful approach of Ross Harrop (42) & Lee Butcher (71*) bear fruit as over 150 were scored from the last 21 overs to win by 4 wickets.

With Paul 'Genial' Gillen taking 5-12, the 3rds restricted their Bedhampton counterparts to 137-9, and led by Rob Wood's 46 they eased home by 7 wickets.

The 4ths also faced Bedhampton's equivalent, and with Fred Selman (42) & Graham Bradley-Turner (33 ret'd hurt) to the fore they totalled 169-6. The visitors were unable to score many boundaries against some consistent bowling, Harry 'Teflon' Selway taking 3-19 as they fell away to 131 all out

Our club needs Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Helpers!!

We are in need of more qualified coaches, coaching assistants and helpers to assist our small team of existing coaches run our various age groups of Colts next season.
It's essential that we keep the Colts running not only to provide our players for the future but also to ensure we remain Clubmark accredited, which is a prerequisite of the club being part of the Southern League.

If you're interested in being a coach, assistant coach, or if you can offer any help at all with the running of our colts, please let me know asap!
It doesn't matter if you can't commit every week to help running the colts, we'll organise things so you can help when it's best for you. Not only do we need additional coaches and assistants but we need parents to help in any way they can, particularly on match days with organising refreshments, collecting match fees, scoring, putting out chairs etc etc.
